Instructions for use and installation for the BOT-25 water tank around the smoke pipe Skamet water tank around the smoke pipe is intended for heating the sauna water. In conditions where there is no on-site water system and the water used is obtained from a river or lake (seawater is not suitable). The water tank is suitable for all wood-burning heaters with a smoke pipe diameter of 115 mm. The water tank is installed directly on the chimney pipe, and smoke pipes go from the water tank to the chimney flue. The water tank is a cylinder-shaped container covered with a lid, the diameter of which is 300 mm. Skamet water tank around the flue can hold approx. 25 liters of water. The water tank is equipped with a pipe nipple (internal thread ½"), where a faucet can be attached if desired. The faucet is included with the product. The product is made of 2mm thick black metal and is finished with heat-resistant paint. The inside of the tank is uncoated (in other words, depending on the quality of the water, rust or a similar mixture may form). NB! If the formation of rust is unacceptable to the user, the manufacturer does not recommend using this product! The water tank uses the temperatures of the combustion gases coming out of the flue to heat the water. Since the water tank installed on the flue pipe is small and efficient (depending on the distance of the tank from the stove), sometimes the water in the tank may start to boil. To avoid boiling the water, we recommend removing part of the hot water and adding cool water. When heating the oven, there must always be water in the tank (the tank must not be used without water).

Installation Connect the tank to the flue. For Skamet products, there is no need to use adapters or sleeves. For products from other companies, make sure that the outer diameter of the flue coming from the stove is 115mm. Otherwise, you need to use an adapter or sleeve. Make sure that the product is securely attached to the flue. Connect the top of the tank to the flue or elbow and then to the flue.

Good to know • Keep the tank as full as possible. Heating the water tank empty can cause the welds to crack. • Do not use salt water. Salt water promotes corrosion and shortens the life of the tank. • Clean the tank regularly. Rust may form on the bottom of the tank during use (depending on the quality of the water). This can be removed via the tap on the tank. If necessary, the sediment that has formed on the bottom can be drained via the tap before each use. Clean the contents of the tank with water and a clean cloth. Do not use any chemicals for cleaning. • Do not let the water freeze in the tank. The physical properties of the water change when it freezes, which damages the tank and the welds. • The manufacturer's warranty is valid for 24 months from the date of purchase based on the purchase receipt. The warranty applies to defects caused by manufacturing defects. The warranty does not apply to rust caused by the interaction of temperature and water during use.
